The task of the Adult Ministry is to connect individuals through Bible study, allow individuals to engage in ministry alongside one another and to take the Gospel throughout the world. Our adult ministry encompasses all of these areas working together to accomplish the purposes set out through Scripture to love God and love people. We hope you will find a community that will encourage and support you in your journey.
We invite you to join us for Bible study on Sunday morning. We have Bible studies starting at both 9:30am and 11:00am, so you can join us either before or after Worship.
Each class is unique and has its own style, so we encourage everyone who comes to WRBC to visit several different classes to find a community that is right for you.
To learn more about the content of each class, download class brochure. Classes meet on the main and lower level. If you need help locating a class meeting place, please visit the Welcome Center and a member of our Hospitality Team will assist you in finding the class room.
On Wednesday nights at 6:30PM we have offer studies often lead by our Ministerial staff. These studies typically last from 6-8 weeks and the content changes. New studies are typically started in the Fall and Spring. Watch announcements to learn about upcoming studies. During the summer we have special nights including socials or prayer walks. Wednesday night studies do not meet during holidays.
Men’s & Women’s Studies
Our Men’s Bible Study meets on Saturday mornings at 7:30am. We enjoy breakfast and fellowship prior to our study. There is no registration required and you are welcome to join us at any time.
The study is led by our Associate Minister, Larry Pursiful. If you’d like to learn more about the current study or have questions please contact him directly.
Our Women’s Bible Study is offered at three different times. Mondays at 9:30am and 6:30pm or Tuesdays at 9:30am. We offer childcare during the Monday studies only. Studies typically last 6-8 weeks. Registration is required. Info on our next study here.
Our Single Women’s Ministry meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm. Registration is requested if you will need childcare.
We offer Discipleship Curriculum for both Men & Women. The purpose of D.C. is developing Co-laborers/Co-leaders. The study takes place during a 21-month journey in which you will read the entire Bible, memorize 50-70 Bible verses, and use a structured D.C. workbook. If you’d like to learn more about the D.C. curriculum and when the next session begins please contact the church office.
Young Enough to Serve (Y.E.S.) is our ministry for senior adults. They provide monthly lunch socials, a senior choir and often schedule overnight trips with transportation provided. Notices for upcoming events are posted on the Senior Ministry board outside the sanctuary.
