The Children’s Ministry exists to ensure every child knows the Books and Scriptures of the Bible, to explore what the Bible stories and truths mean to them in their lives, and to help them learn and to share the ABCs of becoming a Christian.

Sunday Mornings @ 9:30

Grades 1-3

Children experience a DVD driven curriculum that incorporates a large group session, memory verses, life application and small group discussion into this first hour of ministry on campus.

Grades 4 & 5

Daring D’s are taking a trip through entire Bible this year.  Lessons include key verses, puzzle worksheets, crafts and other activities.

 


 

All Children’s activities take place
in the Children’s Cove
on the lower level of our building.

Sunday mornings @ 11:00

 

Grades 1-5

A Team of 4th and 5th grade students lead this time of music, a focus on a particular Bible verse, offering and prayer. Children learn the elements of worship as well as how to lead others during this time of worship. Following this time of combined worship, students in grades 1-3 continue with Bible study and activities. Students in grades 4 & 5 participate in an in-depth Bible study led by Mr. Bill.


Sunday Nights @ 6:00 PM

Bible Drill runs January through April.

For students in grades 1 & 2  Bible Drill involves learning the Books of the Bible and general Bible knowledge. For students in grades 3-5 Bible Drill skills included learning to locate the Books of the Bible, Scripture memorization, and key passage locations.

Wednesday Nights

Wacky Wednesday @ Camp Timothy is our ministry to grade school students.  The Children’s Cove is open from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. for children to play in the game room.  Lessons begin at 6:30 p.m. and revolve around a memory verse for the week.  Games and friendly competition are a part of our teaching every week.
