Eastern Area Community Ministries–9104 Westport Rd.
Eastern Area Community Ministries is a non-profit social service agency founded by local churches to meet specific needs in our community. This includes the zip codes of 40018, 40027, 40059, 40222, 40223, 40241, 40242, 40243 and 40245 of the Metro Louisville, Kentucky area.
Ongoing Need: 6-8 people on a Monday or Friday to help stock shelves once a month. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Chuck Holdsclaw.
TAPP School—8800 Westport Rd.
The Georgia Chaffee Teenage Parent Program (TAPP) is designed to prevent school dropout due to teen pregnancy and parenting. The program is offered to middle and high school pregnant and parenting students residing in the Louisville/Jefferson County area.
We are excited to have been asked to host a hospitality room for students with snacks and drinks during testing.
Date: April 20 Time: 9 a.m.—noon
Work: We will need volunteers to bring in snacks ahead of time and some to serve the students that day.
Community Egg Hunts– YOUR neighborhood!
This April we will be hosting MULTIPLE Egg Hunts in our community! We need church members to host the hunts in their yards, neighborhood club houses or local parks. Church will provide candy-filled eggs, goodie bags and invite cards for you. You will be able to make a personal investment in the lives of families in your neighborhood.

Locations: Various homes, neighborhoods, and community parks.
Zachary Taylor Elementary School—9620 Westport Rd.
Help us support teachers at the elementary school right across the street from church. You can bring dishes for the lunch or come and help serve!
We are also looking for someone with a heart to serve and lead mission efforts at ZT. If you have a connection or heart for this school and would like to be actively involved in partnering with them, let us know.
Westport Middle School-8100 Westport Rd.
We are interested in forming a partnership with Westport Middle School by being a resource for teachers and students. In the past we have chaperoned field trips, done yard work, cleaned out storage rooms and more. In addition to the teacher’s luncheon, let us know if you are interested in serving at WMS.
