Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you have Criminal Background checks on your teachers?

Yes, the church has implemented a policy requiring all adults working with minors to have criminal background checks. We take the safety of your children very seriously!

2. How/Where do I drop off my child?

Preschoolers are dropped off in the classroom. When you drop off you will be asked to fill out a nametag for your child. It will have your child’s name, your name and a phone number. We ask that you put your cell phone on vibrate. If we need to get in contact with you, we will dial your cell phone.

3. My child has separation issues. I am afraid to leave them crying with you. What should I do?

Our teachers have a lot of experience with children. More often than not, children with separation issues will cry for a few minutes when dropped off in a new setting. Once they realize that they are safe and feel loved they usually calm down. If your child is still struggling after several minutes, we can call your cell phone or come find you if you would like. If you think your child might have trouble, please let us know and we will let you tell us what you would like for us to do about contacting you.

4. What other activities do you have for me and my preschooler?

At various times throughout the year we have special events. Samples of past events include, Princess and Warrior Party, Movie Night, Birthday Party for Jesus, Zoo Trip, VBS, Easter Egg Hunt, etc. We will publicize these and would love for you to come!! We also have a MOPS ministry for Mothers of Preschoolers. Click here to learn more about MOPS!

5. Do you ever have a Baby Dedication?

Yes, we have Baby Dedications two times each year. Baby Dedications are special times in the worship service where parents come forward and share their intent to raise their baby to grow and know Christ. If you would like to be included in our next Baby Dedication, please contact Mary Clifford.
