Cory Bledsoe
Cory serves as the Mobilization and Community Ministry Associate. Prior to joining the team at the Kentucky Baptist Convention, Cory served for over 15 years among two organizations serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Louisville, KY, most recently for nine years as the Executive Director of Re:Center Ministries.

He serves as the Ministry Director of the Freeda Harris Baptist Center. He has served in this role since April of 2024. He partners with more than 28 local churches, seeking to help them reach their communities for Christ by bringing in mission teams to serve alongside them. The goal at the Freeda Harris Baptist Center is to Make Much of Jesus Together and to assist in Equipping the Saints for the Work of Ministry. This is done through our partnerships by providing mission opportunities to churches who desire to serve and supply willing hands and hearts to come alongside our local churches in doing Gospel ministry.
Our vision at the Freeda Harris Baptist Center is to see the people of Eastern KY come to KNOW Christ, to GROW in knowledge and desire of Him, to SERVE in their churches and communities for Him, and to GO to their neighbors and the nations to proclaim His name.

Perry Cooke
Perry is a passionate advocate for the homeless and underserved, serving as the Executive Director of Mark 12 Ministries in Bullitt County, Kentucky. A veteran, churchman, and Kentucky Baptist missionary, Perry brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness. His ministry is rooted in the belief that poverty stems from broken relationships—spiritual, social, and material—and that healing begins by restoring these through the Gospel and providing a pathway to lasting hope. He works tirelessly to equip churches and communities to minister effectively to the homeless, embodying the biblical call to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31).
In addition to his role at Mark 12, Perry serves as Pastor of Family Ministry at Mercy Hill Church and works with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He and his wife Laura are active in their local church and community, raising their two children, Isaac and Olivia, with a heart for service and compassion.
