When you complete an application form, a payroll withholding form or your tax return, you will be asked about how many dependents you have and oftentimes you are asked for their names.
We typically answer those questions with the names of our spouse and our dependent children because immediate family is how we think of dependents, those who rely upon us for support, especially financial support.
But what about Westport Road Baptist Church? It also relies upon you (us) for prayerful and financial support in good economic times and in tough economic times – and – for all time.
As you prayerfully consider the disposition of the estate the Lord has entrusted to you, include a provision for your church. If you have 2 “dependents,” consider Westport Baptist Church as your third “dependent.”
